This sounds like a really good idea to search all those sites you turn to looking for support materials. It would be good to put up on a teacher intranet page - advertise it as the "one stop" shop for resources.
Having the "Search the web" choice on the Search bar however, reminds you to check the whole web now and again - don't get too lazy!
